Overview

Two Birds & One Stone opened in 2020, when the UK was in lockdown. Leading to the unexpected challenge of launching a restaurant without dine-in customers. As their design partner, we tackled this challenge by creating a digital-first brand experience to introduce and connect them to their local community. The unique and bold visual identity allowed the Two Birds brand to be instantly recognisable online and offline.  Our process began with aligning on business goals, a brand vision and clear success measures to ensure design would help solve business challenges. Since the original site launch in 2020, we've learned through Google Analytics that 90% of visitors access the site on thier mobile phones, so the 2025 optimisations started with a mobile-first approach to make getting in touch frictionless.

Since launch, the staff save time by eliminating menu questions and calls due to an easy to an navigate online menu. Take-out has steadily increased to the point that they expanded onto Deliveroo to accommodate take-out demand.
